Terms & Conditions
KEYS: Available from 2.00pm on arrival day and 3.00pm for our Beach Bungalow (arrivals later than 5.00pm by prior arrangement) and returned by 10.00am on departure day.
RESERVATION FEE: A non returnable reservation fee of £60.00 per week is payable on booking and the balance must be paid at least three weeks (21days) before arrival... NO REMINDERS will be sent. When booking online full balance is required.
The payment of any monies to us constitutes a legally binding contract and an acceptance of the booking conditions.
BOND: Upon your arrival you will be asked to pay a £40.00 bond. This will be returned to you in full on your departure subject to the accomodation being left clean and in good condition, the key, barrier card, and bed linen and freeview remote control being returned and there being no incidence of anti social behaviour. WE RESERVE THE RIGHT TO CHARGE A BOND IN CIRCUMSTANCES WHERE THIS IS DEEMED NECESSARY i.e. SINGLE SEX PARTIES OR BOOKINGS BY YOUNG PERSONS. FAILURE TO INFORM MAY RESULT IN TERMINATION OF THE BOOKING. If you leave before/after the Reception is open/closed, please post keys/barriercard and TV remote along with a note of your name and address through the letter box and we will forward the deposit to you. Please make sure that all bed linen (duvet covers, sheets and pillow cases) are removed before leaving.
TOTAL NUMBER OF PEOPLE: In line with the English Tourist Board regulations, the total number of people in your party should not exceed the number stated for the Holiday Home booked.
NUISANCE TO OTHERS IN THE PARK: We reserve the right to immediately terminate the booking of any parties causing excessive noise or nuisance to others on the park. WE OPERATE A ZERO TOLERANCE POLICY TO ANY ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR.
PETS: Pets are allowed, but NOT in the bedrooms or on the seating, and must NOT be left unattended in the Holiday Homes. They must be kept on a lead at all times within the park, but then can run free within the sand dunes and on the beach. We would remind everyone that it is an offence for dogs to foul public footpaths / public areas and ask that all fouling be cleaned up by the dog handler.
DAMAGE: Any damage to a Holiday Home or equipment should be reported to reception at once and replaced or repaired to their satisfaction before leaving. Please note that if anyone in your party has a bed wetting problem, a new mattress costs £140 - £160 which you are liable for.
ELECTRICAL APPLIANCES: Electrical appliances exceeding one K/Watt must not be used in the Holiday Home. For example an Iron, Kettle, Hair Dryers on high settings and Hair Straightners.
RECEPTION: Please see opening hours on our Reception Door.
MAINTENANCE: We, or our representatives reserve the right to enter the property to maintain either the Holiday Home itself or any equipment therein, at any reasonable time but without notice, whether the Holiday Home is occupied or not.
LINEN: We provide bed linen and blankets/duvets and pillows on all our beds. Please bring your own tea towels and towels. Otherwise all our Holiday Homes are fitted to a high standard. On no account are blankets to be used outside the Holiday Home or put on the grass. Used bed linen to be taken to Reception on departure. COTS OR HIGHCHAIRS: These can be hired through us for a small weekly charge. No bedding is provided with the cots.
CANCELLATIONS: When you book a holiday either by writing, telephone or email you are entering a legally binding contract. If you then wish to cancel your holiday you are still liable for the full amount of that holiday provided your accommodation has not been re-let. We therefore strongly recommend that you take out insurance against the cancellation of your holiday.
THE PARKS LIABILITY: It is an express condition of our acceptance of any booking that if for any reason (e.g. accident during previous hire or other cause beyond our control) it should be necessary for us to cancel your booking, we have the right to do so and to refund any payments received in complete and final discharge of all liability on our part. We also reserve the right to transfer a booking into an equivalent class of Holiday Home without prior notification. The park owners cannot accept liability for any injury, loss or damage suffered by you or any member of your party whilst on the Park.
VACANCIES: All charges shown are INCLUSIVE of any taxation. When booking your holiday it is advisable to ‘telephone to hold the provisional booking for seven days’ and send your deposit promptly to confirm the booking. We do have an answer phone but please give your name and address clearly and don’t forget your post code.
DIGGING IN THE PARK: Digging in the park is very DANGEROUS as there are underground electricity cables, telephone wires and plastic water pipes. Parents are particularly asked to make sure that CHILDREN DO NOT DIG AROUND THE PARK; there is plenty of sand on the beach, and in the play area.
LOST PROPERTY: If any belongings are left behind and a request is made to send them on, then a minimum fee of £10 administration plus post and packaging will be made. Lost property not claimed within 4 weeks after your holiday will be discarded. Please ensure you check your accommodation thoroughly before you leave.
CAR OWNERS: As we are on sand dunes car owners are asked to park their cars on the designated car parks, with the exception of loading, unloading and in very busy periods. A lenient view is taken in the case of disabled drivers. Cost of accommodation includes parking for one vehicle per unit. Extra vehicles are charged at £10.00 per week and must be parked in the large car park at the top of the park.
