CORONAVIRUS UPDATE – 23rd March 2020
We have been closely following the daily announcements and Government guidelines regarding the Coronavirus outbreak, consequent spread and risk to us all.
As you all are aware, the government has advised that we only travel if it is essential to do so, this is to try to reduce the spread of this virus, which we wholeheartedly as a family and park operators fully support.
We have therefore made the very difficult decision to close Beachside Holiday Park until further notice, with effect from 6pm this evening, in line with the Government guidelines, as continuing to be open for holidays would be in breach of their guidance.
We have a responsibility to NOT encourage the spread of this virus and to protect the NHS in our area, the wider community and society as a whole.
These are unprecedented times. We all have a responsibility to consider not just ourselves but to the people of our country, the local community and on this park.
In terms of risk assessment, we can no longer guarantee our park is without risk of contamination.
In addition, as park operators, we no longer feel we can meet the requirement of health and safety regulations required.
We will await further guidance from Public Health England and of course keep you all updated.
If you have a booking with us in March/April, we will be contacting you within the next couple of days. If you have a booking for May onwards, we will be monitoring the situation and we will update you closer to your arrival date.
All owners have now been advised. We appreciate your patience during this difficult time.
In the meantime we sincerely thank you for your patience, kind messages and support throughout this uncertain and quiet frightening time.
From all at Beachside family to your family, stay safe, take care and we look forward to welcoming you all back soon.
